The Break Through Christian Academy
On one of my first missions trips to the Philippines, my brother, Dale, introduced me to a local church in Manila that was starting an outreach church in a garbage dump. After meeting the pastor and hearing his vision, I felt God’s calling to help extend the reach into the community of people living in extreme poverty.
That led to establishing a school at the church, now called Break Through Church. To my great surprise and honor they named it after one of my songs, Break Through. We started with 6 scholars and the school has now grown to about 120 children, K-12.
The school is not only a place to learn and begin to break the cycle of poverty in the area, but it is a place where parents in the community, both men and women, are drawn to the church because of the love of Christ shown to them in practical ways through the education their children receive at Break Through Christian Academy.
God has blessed this church and school for the past 10 years now. It is clearly a place that serves and praises Him.
I would love for you to join me in providing scholarships for the truly needy kids in this community. Any donation–big or small–will make an impact for Christ.
